Redevelopment of the historic Avondale Bowling Club. Site zoned open space so the 33 residential units proposed were considered as a non complying activity. Post council limited notifying the proposal and recommending decline in their hearing report. Consent was approved via hearing with the Council planner changing their recommendation post the applicant’s specialists evidence. The consenting of this site has resulted in a large uplift in value noting the underlying zoning. CIVIX engineers and surveyors are to be on site delivering the project.
