Civix recently gained approval for a dwelling (Cameron Aitken Architecture) located within the special character area of Northcote Point. This proposal involved removal of a dilapidated dwelling likened to a 1950’s state house, to be replaced by a modern family home based on traditional architectural styles and materials. The proposal is sympathetic to the character and values of the Northcote Point area which is typified by an eclectic mix of traditional and modern architectural styles, while also providing the future occupants with an outstanding quality of living. The site was identified to be up zoned and could have accommodated up to three dwellings however the applicants wanted to create a family home in keeping with the established character of Church Street.
For private land developments, Civix Town Planners, Chartered Engineers and Licensed Cadastral Surveyors have got you covered from the initial site visit through to council sign off.
