Civix have obtained a non-notified Resource Consent for a luxury dream home in Sandspit despite Council landscape specialist opposition.

The unique site is prominent within the Sandspit area. A bespoke architectural design by Hulena Architects respects the landform while providing for the living requirements of the family. The proposal included a large building coverage infringement, side yard infringement, and also high reflectivity building material. The Council landscape specialist did not support the proposal (largely on what was considered planning matters) however ultimately the Council Consultant Planner recommended approval on a non-notified basis.. Another good result and looking forward to seeing this constructed.
