As-built surveys are used to obtain detailed spatial data and other information regarding completed assets. Signed as-built drawings are generally required by various public entities (e.g. Auckland Council, Auckland Transport) to ensure that assets are robust and compliant before they accept ownership of these assets. The provision of these drawings is therefore a key step in most developments, and must be completed before new titles can be issued.
Only Licensed Cadastral Surveyors and Registered Professional Surveyors are able to sign as-builts in Auckland. Civix's survey team has the capability to carry out the surveys in a timely manner to a high degree of accuracy, and can ensure signed as-builts are available when the times come to vest public assets.

Green Gorilla Ltd (GRP Ltd) had taken over the site at 1153A Rotowaro Road, Glen Afton in 2021 for use as a cleanfill and construction and demolition ( C&D) waste fill facility, and has since vastly improved the use of the site and its associated effects on the environment. They intend to continue to improve the operations on the site while also expanding the operation to provide for the deposition of cleanfill and C&D, being an increasingly valuable and required service for the constantly expanding construction sector.
The current consent for construction and demolition and cleanfill had expired. Civix Planners are now working through Resource Consent to expand and optimise their operations.
