Civix is a New Zealand-based company that provides Overland Flow Path Reports to help property owners and developers reduce risk of flooding.
Civix's team of experts has been designing and implementing solutions for overland flow management for many years. They are committed to keeping their clients up to date with the most current research and best practices in the field so they can make informed decisions about their assets, site planning and design.
The team at Civix works closely with clients to develop an appropriate solution for their needs by analysing the existing conditions, identifying potential hazards and assessing risks based on past events. They then provide a report with recommendations for reducing those risks through proper design or mitigation measures.
The team at Civix is composed of engineers, hydrologists, geomorphologists, planners and environmental scientists who are trained in their field of expertise as well as software developers who develop specialized tools for analyzing data collected during field investigations.

Green Gorilla Ltd (GRP Ltd) had taken over the site at 1153A Rotowaro Road, Glen Afton in 2021 for use as a cleanfill and construction and demolition ( C&D) waste fill facility, and has since vastly improved the use of the site and its associated effects on the environment. They intend to continue to improve the operations on the site while also expanding the operation to provide for the deposition of cleanfill and C&D, being an increasingly valuable and required service for the constantly expanding construction sector.
The current consent for construction and demolition and cleanfill had expired. Civix Planners are now working through Resource Consent to expand and optimise their operations.
